Eastern Pakistan is tense today while hundreds of a banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi Muslim (Religion of Peace) paramilitary terrorist force plus hangers on ran amok burning homes and in one case burning a home with eight members of the family still inside. Four women and a child are reported to be among the victims of that fire bombing. The women of course mean nothing to the Muslims involved in the carnage, they are afterall, less important than a good camel and can't carry quite as much baggage.
The violence stems from an unsubstantiated rumour of the defilement of a Q'aran, the Muslim holy book. The members of the paramilitary group were firing their weapons indiscriminately and looting the homes which were targeted in the predominately Christian sector.
One resident of the area, Rafiq Masih, stated
“They were shouting anti-Christian slogans (precisely like the American Left) and attacked our houses,”
and
“We kept begging for protection, but police did not take action,”
Hope in one hand, Change in the other and dialing 911 is no real anwer to the problem is it?
An AK47 on the other hand seems to be understood by all of the Muslim terrorists.
Residents of the area indicated the police simply stood by while the carnage was taking place. As many as 40 homes were burned and while the police are suggesting only 10 have been killed, including 2 by gunshot wounds, the toll may be in the dozens as the homes reduced to rubble are searched.
Muslim police understating the deaths of Christians, go figure.
Minister for Minorities Shahbaz Bhatti commented the rumour of a defiled Q'uran was false and the police ignored an appeal to put a halt to the violence. Three youths from Christian homes were accused last week of burning a Q'uran. Despite the youths protestations to the contrary, clerics called for the three youths to be killed.
Hey that was a Moozlum Holy Book, better safe than real crimes any old day ya' know. They may not have actually burned that sorry rag of a book about a 7th century peophile, but those kids were probably thinking about it anyway.
The hundreds of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and supporters came from surrounding districts to conduct their mayhem.
Come one, come all, it's going to be a PARTY! Burn the Christians and don't forget the Kosher goats sausages and falafel buns.
Lashkar-e-Jhangvi is an outlawed (technically) Sunni sectarian group believed to have close ties to Al-Queda and the instigators of several attacks on security forces within Pakistan in recent years.
The district of Gorja has approximately 50,000 49,990 or fewer Christians living there.
Does pakistan have gun laws on the books preventing theese targeted groups from owning guns? or is it like the United States, where the common citizen can own a gun if they can prove they aren't a criminal or if they are a criminal and don't care what the law says.
How is it that the crooks are abiding closer to the spirit of the Second Amendment than the common law abiding citizen of the US?
could it be that the law is all jacked up by a government which is intent on controlling the population and can't do that if said population might be just a tad persnickety about going quietly into that good night?
HR45 (link) is waiting in the wings to take the right of gun ownership away from nearly every American in this nation. Beware.
