The G-8 has announced a plan to block the Sun from shining on vast regions of Planet Earth. The full plan has not yet been formulated or even been determined as feasible at this juncture of the human races's ability to control that big beasty out there in the middle of the Solar System.
Nonetheless, the G-8 group of self described Drastically Important People (DIP's) have
made a committment to not allow the Sun to alter the Earths temperature by more than 2
o centigrade (3.6
o F.)
Comrade Pres**ent1 Obama was given the opportunity to be the chair of a debate today on the process. No word has been leaked about who might have sat on him yet, but speculation has been bandied about that it will be either Prime Minister Putin from Russia or President Hu Jintao from China who gets the honor. One reporter not so close to Comrade Pres**ent1 Obama stated on condition of that the Comrade Pres**ent1 had been hoping for King Saud of Arabia who is also the silent majority stock holder in the 7-11 store chain to be the one chosen to sit on him.
Slashing global greenhouse emissions by 80% was agreed on in December by the G-8 group, flower
growers in colder climates are reported to be very upset by that decision.
China, Mexico, Brazil, India and South Africa make up the major components of the secondary G-13 group. Somalia, and Liechtenstein had been working behind the scenes to be included in an expanded G-15 group but the plans appear to have not been fruitful.
In the agreement to make certain the Earth's temperature is held to rise of 2o c. or less Comrade Pres**ent Obama1 had suggested during his campaign that being able to place enormous panels of an undescribed material in space to block the Sun from shining with such force on the planet.
Comrade Pres**ent1 Obama has not yet clarified what the expiration date of his statements of support for greenhouse gas, bovine and political flatulence reductions might be.
