In disecting that statement by someone who really desires to be the President of the United States... I'm first, stunned at his simplistic view of what is or is not free trade.
Then I look at the mututally exclusive ideas presented in the statement and wonder if he's been drinking too much of the DemonKratik Koo-Aid.
Lets just take a look at that statement;
NAFTA has cost 50,000 jobs in Ohio: I don't know where he gets the support for that statement, but taking it at face value for the moment - jobs have left Ohio. OK.
But then immediately after that.. perhaps wiothout even taking an extra breath between, he admits the repeal of NAFTA would result in the loss of jobs in the Country as a whole.
Does that not mean some or most of the jobs which left Ohio went to different states rather than somewhere else in the North American Continent? And if so, so what? Last time I looked around, the folks in Indiana spoke the same language and paid exhorbitant taxes to the same group of idiots in Washington D.C. that I in California and Ohioans do.
Is Obamasamaramalamadingdong really dumb enough to support the idea of protectionism between separate States? Although to be just and fair, he may have simply meant the jobs which left Ohio despite a repeal of NAFTA would never rematerialize in their former neighborhoods. If so, it would sem better for someone who aspires to be the "Man" in the nation which is at this time the Leader of the Free World to be a bit more clear about who he is pandering to and the extent of his pandering.
I am not a fan of John McCan't, but he still looks better than either of the two DementedKrats who want the job.
