In looking at the Mormon cultist
Mitt Romney, the assumed Catholicism of
Rudy Guilianni,
Mike Huckabee's Baptist backgound,
Fred Thompson's Church of Christ background and
Duncan Hunter's Southern Baptist background, they all seem like reasonably devout types - with the exception of Rudy who is a serial filanderer and who oddly enough began his carrer in politics as a Democrat anyway.
But what are they supposed to do? Other than protect the nation from foreign and domestic terrorists,( that would be Al-Qaeda and the DjimmaKratic CONgress) in the guise of Nancy and Harry with all of the other politick potlickers tossed in.

But what can they do to change the direction of the Nation? I look at polls to see what is going on in the nation on a larger scale than my own little puddle, I ran across a
Gallup poll from May 31, 2005 which indicates 22% of Americans believe themselves to be Evangelical Christians - unlike Mitt Romney who wants to claim the title but still believes Christ and Satan are actual brothers created by a sexual encounter with God (or perhaps the Mormon god with a little g) and that we are all emigres from another planet where God the Father has a Summer Home.
The point of this being, how can a nation with a population which has nearly a quarter of it's people described as Born-Again Believers be so laden with what on the surface appears to be a truly
hedonistic culture which the fanatical (all of them) Islamist groups rail against as the Great Satan?
The answer seems to lie in the description of who is actually a born again believer ( of whom I am one.)
The question to the answer is: Do people such as Madonna, Paris Hilton, BrAngellina and the rest of the Pop Tart crowd comprise what matters to the country as a whole? Or is it possible that we the mainstream americans are being manipulated by the Lame Stream Press bosses?
Does anyone really not care that Gangsta Rappers are on stage grabbing their crotch, whle the Pop Tarts are showing their crotch and the rest of them are joining crotches - whether straight, bi, gay or pehaps not even in the same species? With the worst threat coming from those who create more of their ilk. Admittedly a small percentage of the population of the country - so why so much press coverage? Who over the age of 13 cares what the Metrosexuals and Whores are doing at every single moment of their lives?
The President can make a difference to the nation. The President cannot reinvent the heart and soul of the nation, that is up to each of us to do on our own.
Somehow I cannot believe a
Mormon Cultist who isn't even interested about being truthful about the cult he belongs to can lead anyone away from the moral decline or would even bother to point it out to the three of four Americans who haven't been able to notice it already.
Where is the next Man or Woman of Honor going to come from? That does seem to be what we as a Nation need now, not just another political hack with a well funded PR machine and a Church
First President (Gordon Hinckley) to guide his every move.
